# AI visibility on iPhone

> See where Google's AI Overview cites you, how many visits AI assistants send and how often AI answers mention you.

Open **Insights → AI evidence**. It shows four separate kinds of evidence. Each has its own source, dates and limits, so they're never added up into one number.

## Check whether an AI Overview cites you

1. Open a search in the **SERP explorer** (from its detail screen or from Workspace) and tap **Check**.
2. The summary shows **AI Overview** as **Cited** when your site is among its sources.
3. Scroll to the AI Overview card to read the full text and the sites it links to. **You're cited** appears at the top when one of them is yours.
4. Back in **AI evidence**, searches you've checked are listed with **Cites you** or **Shown, doesn't cite you**.

> **Note:** Search Console doesn't report AI Overview traffic separately. The clicks shown are your normal clicks for searches where a check saw an AI Overview, not clicks from the AI Overview itself.

## Visits from AI assistants

Link a GA4 property to the site (see [Search performance](https://anotherseoguru.com/en/help/iphone-app/search-performance)), then tap **Load AI referrals**. You get the **AI-referred sessions** for the period and the split by assistant. A fresh report costs 2 credits; cached reports are free for an hour.

> **Warning:** Many AI visits arrive without a referrer and count as direct, so this number is a floor, not the full picture.

## Mentions and prompt checks

**Mentions in AI answers** charts how often each platform mentions your domain. Answers vary between runs, so read the trend rather than a single check. To run new checks, add prompts or compare with competitors, tap **Open AI visibility**. New checks use credits; viewing saved ones is free.
