# The AI assistant on iPhone

> Ask questions about your own Search Console data and follow the assistant as it thinks, reads your data and writes.

The assistant answers questions about the selected site using your own Search Console data. It writes the finished text (a new title, a rewritten intro, a plan), not just a brief.

## Where to find it

- The **sparkles** button at the top of Today and Insights.
- **Ask the assistant** on a search or page, on a fix, in a task and in the site audit. The question arrives filled in with that context.
- **Ask assistant** on a traffic alert notification, which asks why the site's clicks changed this week.
- Siri: say **Ask AnotherSEOGuru**.

Not sure what to ask? The empty screen has suggestions such as **What should I fix first this week?**, **Why did my clicks change this month?** and **Write better titles for my top pages**.

## What the assistant is doing

While it works, a status card shows each step, so you never stare at a blank screen:

| You see | What's happening |
| --- | --- |
| **Thinking…** | It's reading your question and deciding which data it needs. |
| **Consulting your data…** | It's reading your data. Each source is a line with a spinner that turns into a check, for example **Reading 1,240 searches from the last 28 days**. A source it can't use is marked not available. |
| **Writing…** | The answer appears as it's written. The list of data it read stays visible. |
| Answer ready | The finished answer with a **Sources** chip naming what it used, such as Google Search Console or **Saved AI answer checks**. |

> **Note:** If the connection drops, the answer says it was interrupted. Tap **Try again** to ask the same question again.

## Using an answer

1. **Copy or share it** Use **Copy**, or **Share** to send it to Notes, Mail or a colleague.
2. **Save it as a task** **Save as task** puts the answer on your task list for the site, ready to ship and measure in Work.
3. **Pick up later** The clock button opens **Conversation history**. Search, rename or delete conversations, or start a **New conversation**.

> **Tip:** Be specific: name the page, the search or the period. "Why did /blog/santorini-cost-guide lose clicks in the last 28 days?" gets a better answer than "why is traffic down?".
