*Keyword research: volume, difficulty, intent and a 12-month trend for any search in any market.*

1. **Pick a search** Start from one of your top Search Console searches, or type any keyword. Choose the market (country and language).
2. **Read the overview** You get **Search volume** per month and its recent change, keyword difficulty (KD), **CPC**, **Competition**, the number of results and the **Intent**: informational, navigational, commercial or transactional.
3. **Check the trend and ideas** **Search volume trend** shows monthly searches for the last 12 months. Below it are **Related searches**, questions people ask and keyword ideas. Tap one for its own overview, or hold it for actions.
4. **Act on it** **Track rank** adds the keyword to rank tracking, **Add task** puts it on your list, and the sparkle button asks the assistant about it.

> **Warning:** Keyword data and the SERP explorer use credits. Before any paid check the app shows **Review the credit cost** with the price and your balance. Only a completed result is charged; saved results are free.

## Rank tracking and the ranking ladder

**Rank tracking** shows your tracked keywords with their daily Google position, best position and 7-day movement. Positions come from Search Console and update daily, about two days behind. Tracked keywords are shared with the web app, so adding or removing one on the phone changes it everywhere.

For the bigger picture, the **Ranking ladder** on [Today](https://anotherseoguru.com/en/help/iphone-app/today) counts every search in the top 3, 10, 20 and 100 and how many moved.
