Annotations and measuring changes
Mark what you shipped and Google's updates, then see their effect on the chart.
Annotations put context on your charts. Google algorithm updates are added for you, and you can add your own: a migration, a new section, a title rewrite.
- 1Open Performance → Annotations, or choose Annotate a change under any chart.
- 2Pick the date, write a short label and save.
- 3The annotation shows as a marker on every chart that covers that date.
Tip:Shipping a task from Tasks also records its ship date, so its before-and-after result is measured automatically.
