The page inspector

Check everything Google reads on a single page.

Site audit → Page inspector fetches any page and checks the on-page factors Google reads: status code, indexing directives, canonical, title tag, meta description, headings, links, images, structured data and Open Graph tags. It also shows the Search Console queries that page ranks for.

  • Use it before and after publishing a change to confirm it's live.
  • The preview shows roughly how the result looks on desktop. Google may rewrite titles and snippets.
Note:Checks run on the HTML the server returns. HTTP headers such as X-Robots-Tag aren't visible here.
