What is Domain Authority (DA)

Domain Authority is a third-party score that estimates how likely a website is to rank in search results. It's calculated based on the quantity and quality of backlinks, scored from 1-100.

Example

Wikipedia has DA 100, while a new blog might have DA 10-20. Higher DA sites pass more value when linking to you.

How to apply it

Build DA by earning quality backlinks, creating valuable content, and maintaining a clean link profile. Focus on your niche authority rather than raw DA numbers.

Tip:DA is a third-party metric, not a Google ranking factor. Use it comparatively within your niche, not as an absolute target.
