What is Keyword Clustering

Keyword clustering is the practice of grouping semantically related keywords that share the same search intent. Instead of creating separate pages for each keyword, you target a cluster of related terms with one comprehensive piece of content.

Example

Clustering 'running shoes for beginners', 'best first running shoes', 'starter running sneakers' into one guide targeting all three.

How to apply it

Use SERP overlap analysis to group keywords (if 3+ same URLs rank for two keywords, they belong together). Create pillar content for clusters.

Tip:Clustering prevents cannibalization and creates more authoritative content. One great page > five thin pages targeting similar keywords.
