What is Page Experience

Page Experience is Google's holistic measure of user experience encompassing Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendliness, HTTPS, safe browsing, and intrusive interstitial guidelines. It became a ranking factor in 2021.

Example

A page with good Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendly design, HTTPS, no security issues, and no intrusive popups has good page experience.

How to apply it

Pass all Core Web Vitals, ensure mobile responsiveness, use HTTPS, avoid malware, remove intrusive interstitials, maintain safe browsing status.

Tip:Page experience is a tiebreaker, not a dominant signal. Great content with poor page experience can still outrank poor content with perfect metrics.
