How search engines process and execute JavaScript to see page content.

What is Rendering (JavaScript SEO)

Rendering is the process by which search engines execute JavaScript to generate the final HTML content of a page. JavaScript-heavy sites require proper rendering for search engines to index their content.

Example

A React SPA that loads content via JavaScript. Googlebot must render the page to see the content - if rendering fails, content isn't indexed.

How to apply it

Use server-side rendering (SSR) or static generation for critical content, test with Mobile-Friendly Test, check rendered HTML in GSC, minimize render-blocking JS.

Tip:Googlebot queues pages for rendering - there's a delay between crawl and render. SSR ensures content is immediately visible without rendering dependency.

Track it in GSC Boost
