NAP (Name, Address, Phone)

Business contact information that must be consistent across the web.

What is NAP (Name, Address, Phone)

NAP stands for Name, Address, and Phone number - the critical business information that should be consistent across your website, Google Business Profile, directories, and all online mentions. Inconsistency confuses search engines and hurts local rankings.

Example

If your GBP says '123 Main St' but your website says '123 Main Street, Suite 100', that's NAP inconsistency.

How to apply it

Audit all citations for consistency, use the exact same format everywhere, include NAP in website footer, use LocalBusiness schema, fix variations promptly.

Tip:Create a master document with your exact NAP format. Use it when submitting to any directory or platform. Even small variations can hurt.

Track it in GSC Boost
