What is Search Operators

Search operators are special characters and commands used to refine search queries. They're invaluable for SEO research, competitive analysis, finding backlink opportunities, and auditing indexed pages.

Example

site:example.com (all indexed pages), intitle:"keyword" (pages with keyword in title), -keyword (exclude results), link:example.com (who links to you)

How to apply it

Use site: to audit indexing, intitle:/inurl: for competitive research, related: for finding similar sites, cache: to see Google's version.

Tip:Combine operators for powerful queries: site:competitor.com intitle:"guest post" finds guest post opportunities on competitor sites.
