What is Pagination SEO

Pagination SEO involves properly handling content split across multiple pages (like blog archives or product listings) so search engines can discover all content while avoiding duplicate content issues.

Example

A blog with 50 posts showing 10 per page: /blog/, /blog/page/2/, /blog/page/3/, etc. Each needs proper handling.

How to apply it

Use self-referencing canonicals on each page, ensure proper linking between pages, consider 'load more' or infinite scroll with proper implementation, use view-all pages if appropriate.

Tip:Google deprecated rel='next/prev' hints. Now focus on clear navigation, ensuring each paginated page has unique valuable content visible.
