What is Google Business Profile (GBP)

Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is a free tool that allows businesses to manage their online presence across Google Search and Maps. It displays business information, hours, reviews, photos, and posts.

When someone searches 'pizza near me', GBP determines which businesses appear in the Local Pack with their hours, ratings, and location.

How to apply it

Complete every field, choose accurate categories, add high-quality photos, post regularly, respond to all reviews, enable messaging, keep hours updated.

Tip:Add products/services with descriptions and prices. Many businesses skip this, but it helps you appear for more specific local searches.
